Cat Eksterior
BUILDING MATERIALS & CONSTRUCTIONintermediate
Definition
Exterior paint — a weather-resistant paint formulation designed to withstand UV radiation, rain, temperature extremes, and fungal growth in tropical climates. Cat eksterior uses high-quality pigments, binders, and UV stabilisers and typically costs 2–3 times more than interior paint, but extends facade durability to 5–7 years or longer.
Example
An Indonesian house exterior uses premium cat-eksterior on the acian-finished walls — the paint containing fungicide to resist mould growth in the humid tropical climate and UV inhibitors to prevent fading from intense sun exposure.
